MAKING GAMES IN UNITY 3D
Unity Virtual World Creation, where students can create a inventory they can drag their items to. A zombie tracks the player who tries to trap him behind a locked door when the player locates a key -- but not before adding a health pack and battery to the inventory. When the large white spire is approached, it triggers another level (click here for a walkthrough) that will allow a brief escape from other trackers -- at least for a limited time.

Student Project 2016
In 2009, Pranav Mistry won the 2009 Invention Award for his 6th Sense Technologies concept. By wearing colored thimbles -- or anyone simply painting their fingernails -- the combination of wearing a camera, miniature microphone and a program to track hand-gestures (all connected to a cellular device) created a vision for the future of mobile technologies. Pranav now works as the head technician for Samsung -- and perhaps anticipated partnering with the Oculus Rift. Since Pranav's work, we have seen various outcomes such as Microsoft's XBOX & Kinect -- as well as Augmented Reality (AR). Mobile technologies have now taken the lead from the conventional desktop computer.
Oculus Rift technology has streamlined what was previously experienced as immersive cave technologies. Now we can inexpensively have the same experience, especially when combined with the Oculus Touch and/or Virtuix Omni tracking system. Google Glasses offers the anticipation for making integrative technologies more miniature.
Gaming Engines such as Unity 3D now have the Oculus Rift as a drag-and-drop option for game programmers to fully immerse themselves within the center of their own creations.

Within current technologies, students can create their assets and characters within Blender, import them into Unity and create immersive-reality games that are now cutting-edge within the game market field.
With a new tracking system along with the Oculus Rift, players can now immerse themselves in a virtual world. The future of movies may take a backseat as moviegoers prefer to become more active participants rather than as passive viewers. Is it any wonder why games are now a 140 billion-dollar-per-year industry?
